Action Needed

With 300 days of sunshine per year, our state is ideal for turning sunlight into energy using technology that is dependable, quiet, and has a wide range of applications. One great example is solar thermal energy, the process of heating water by utilizing energy from the sun.

Solar Thermal is the next important step in Colorado's Clean, Green Energy Economy. That is why I am writing to ask for your support of HB 1126. This bill allows local governments to provide the same incentives for solar thermal as they do for solar electric. Here's what it will do -

  • Create thousands of Colorado jobs
  • Lower utility bills and save you money
  • Protect our environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions

You shouldn't have to sacrifice clean water and your family's health for energy. You deserve a modern energy system that uses clean, smart technology and homegrown resources that grow our economy. Please call your legislator and tell them you support House Bill 1126!
