The Indian Peaks Group published these two newsletter to provide information for members living in Boulder County. We write, design and print the newletters ourselves here in Boulder County using local printers and purely driven by volunteers. The Bugle is the longer 8-page two-color version that is published in April and October and The Toot is a one color single sheet version that is published in July and January.
Every Sierra Club member who lives in Boulder County is automatically a member of the Indian Peaks Group and should receive copies of The Bugle and The Toot. If you are not receiving them for some reason you are welcome to contact our Membership Chair Amy Schlotthauer who can update your contact details.
We are always looking for interesting stories about people enjoying Boulder County in a sustainable way. Articles about wildlife, hiking and local issues are all appropriate topics. If you like to write something we would be delighted to consider it for publication. If you would like to see if your article idea might be used you can e-mail with your idea before you start work if you wish. Contact the Newsletter Editor
We have to hit certain dates in order to allow for design, editing, printing time, and mailing time. If you miss a deadline we will try to include your piece but if we are pressed for time we may have to postpone it or not use it at all.
Our newsletters have a readership of more than 4000 informed and environmentally-minded people. You can send information about your product or service to those people by advertising in the Bugle and The Toot. Contact the Newsletter Editor
