Spring Conservation Volunteer Work
On Monday, April 16th, volunteers from the IPG will meet with city of Boulder staff, 9 AM at the city's plant nursery facility, 5990 So. Boulder Rd (SW corner of So. Boulder Rd. and Cherryvale Rd.). We will be potting bare root plant stock for planting later in the season. It is suggested that waterproof gloves be brought by each volunteer. The potting session will end about noon.
If you happen to have that morning free, and would like to help out or need more information, please call Kirk Cunningham, 303-939-8519. In past years, we have done plantings on a Saturday in April at Sawhill Ponds Open Space, but weekend staff availability for supervising the work is not as abundant as it was. 5-6 volunteers would be an ideal number. Thanks for your consideration!
